4T65E In a fiero...
Wondering if anyone has done it or heard of it. If so, what will it mate to an LT1 or LS1? (Thought I saw a fiero on ebay with this conversion before)
Also, please correct me if I'm wrong, but through the research I've done, is this the transmission in the '04 GTP's? Does it also have the ability for push button/paddle shifting? Thanks! Joe |

kickhill can tell u more about what ranny and addapters you will need. but to be honest with you anything with that much hp is going to blow just about any fwd tranny you put in it.

The 4T-65E and the 4T-65E-HD are basically the same tranny. the better of the two is the HD version. they both can handle the LS1.
I put an HD in my fiero. I have had no problems at all. the HD came in the MiniVans with the 3800 engine. the pontiac Grand Prix's all 3800 engines had the 4T-65E tranny's. the GTP even had it. Hope this helps. |
