Endeavor XLS AWD

I recently purchased a new Endeavor and has seen no comments or inputs regarding this vehicle on the forum.

Anyone else have one?

What has been your experience to date?

Question Thinking about it

My wife and I drove an Endeavor and we like it. I haven't heard much about them. Do you like yours? Any problems?

Endeavor

We bought a used 2004 Endeavor in November '04.

So far we really like it. It's been a good car, no problems with it, and it runs great. Of course, the gas issue isn't too great, as Mitsubishi recommends using high grade fuel. You really know it if you use low- or mid-grade fuel, it pings like crazy. A can of octane booster helps, though.

The only thing I don't like about it is the air leak. There's a strong flow of air coming into the cabin from the right and left corners of the dashboard.

Lately, as the weather has warmed, I've started to notice a hot, and sometimes burning plastic smell after driving. I'm not too sure what these might be, but next servicing, I'm going to look into some more.
