Thinking about FI, got some Q's

Well, I think the route I was going to go for doesn't seem too appealing to me now. I'm still going to install my camshaft. But recently I've been looking into a Supercharger for my Civic. I'm thinking a Jackson Racing SC.

So my question is, what kind of upgrades will I need if I were to go this route. Will, I need stronger pistons and rods? Upgrade the fuel system? Just overall, can I just run it with my stock components? I figure, I have the BPU's and if I want 14's then why not go with FI. Anyway, in advance, I'd like to say thanks for all input here. L8...

Yeah well, I just installed some headers, and I figured what's the point of wasting them. I took the time to intall them, so why not keep them. I know Turbo's are much more efficient, but I just want something that could get me the results I want. Even if it isn't TCed. L8...

look at it this way man
you boost your car get the same kind of power with alot less
you waste 300 on header
you S/C your car and you have some ass part on you waste 3.5K

think about that

Re: Thinking about FI, got some Q's

Yeah, I asked around on another Honda site. I just don't want to give up the headers. I like them. Granted they didn't make quite the difference as they are claimed to do, but that's what the VAFC is for. Helps my car run alot better.

Thanks for helping my decision Sniper . I just need something to get that little extra push. Maybe I'll stick with my previous plans and go with a Jet chip. Have any comments on those. A buddy of mine has one, and he says it does make a difference. But that's on his teg. Thanks again Sniper. L8...

Re: Thinking about FI, got some Q's

ill take your header off your hands, that way, i solve your problem, and it will barely help mine but im getting there, you wont have to waste it if you go with the turbo.
