Question Nedd some help on tubbing

hey guys.need a lil help. ive currently got my monte carlo all striped down and have plans to make a dragger. im gonna drop in a 454 big block and super charge it or maybe some nitrous. i have never tubbed a rearend before and i belive the suspension for the rear is coils............i was wondering what i have to do to tub the rear-end and put some big slicks on it. any help is very much apreciated.............o and what kinda dent is it gonna make in my wallet???

well, you'll have to have your rearend narrowed in order to go with big slicks. And to do that, you'll have to send it to a machine shop that does that.

As for the rear suspension, I'd go with either a ladder bar or 4-link set up with coil over shocks. This will help you get the power to the ground, and will give you some adjustability (especially if you go with a 4-link).
