fuel cut @ 13psi?

I hooked up my MBC,and boost gauge, and even with the knob all the way in I can't get over 13psi. I have hooked it up two different ways, input from the turbo nipple, and from the BOV. I am also getting fuel cut, and a CEL. I have found no boost or vacuum leaks.

Re: fuel cut @ 13psi?

What is the CEL......Did you have it scanned? I don't see how you are getting fuel cut with the T-25. See what the CEL is and let us know.

Re: fuel cut @ 13psi?

I was looking for vacuum leaks, and noticed that my EGR solinoid is busted. Do you think this could be part of the problem? It has some nasty backfires.

Good news for me, it was not fuel cut. I found the egr solenoid to be busted where the vacuum line attaches, so instead of buying a new one I just made a block off plate. Problem fixed no more backfire or bucking. I didn't even get a CEL, though I thought I should have.

Stupid me, I crossed the vacuum lines to the mbc. I had the input on the output and the output on the input. I just made a couple of runs, and got the boost up to 16psi, with only 1 or 2psi spike.

Well, they say you don't learn anything without making mistakes. Glad to hear you are up and running!
