Please Help my stalling problems

1992 integra Ls its got like 170000 miles on it. very clean engine looks like the person before it kept it mint. its an automatic but he having some problems when he goes to start off sometimes it will try to stall but dosent wanna stall. his check engine light only comes on when the car is revving high or something like that or when he drives it for a very long time. sometimes the car will even stall but start up perfectly fine if anybody has any opionion on this plz let me no. thx alot. dose anybody have any idea what this could be not enough fuel. It also sounds like it is backfiring outa the intake could it be a cracked distributor cap or maybe some bad valves plz help thx

before you start troubleshooting, you need to pull that code. it is a fundamental aspect of your problems. that is the first step.
