Another new clutch
I just put in a clutch last may er so. I have an 86' z-28 that i've put a good amount of $ into, and now a lot of the big $ cosmetic stuff is coming into play. So before i buy a hood, i'd like some links to bad ass clutches. I installed an OEM last year, and the thing is garbage. I've had nothing but problems since. So if someone could steer me towards a decent kit (pressure plate, t/o bearing, pilot, disc) I'd appreciate it. None of that Zoom garbage either. I'm thinkin like centerforce or Hayes. A lot of you knwo a lot more than I do, and I'd like to keep it in the $350-$400 range. Input would be appreciated, and Go Pats...

Re: Another new clutch
Only experience I have had with aftermarket clutches was in my Vette and I used a Ram clutch and it wore out within 2 years although I did do alot of 3K Clutch bombs so can't really blame it all on ram.

Re: Another new clutch
RAM, Spec, Clutchmaster, McCloud (sp?)
All supposed to be decent clutches. I am looking as well.
