Alternator for 95 grand am
I was wondering whats the biggest alternator you can find for a 95 Grand Am SE..2.4 quad4. Need it due to a larger sound system and more power. I know autozone carries 105amp but I heard that they also have 200amp but checked the online store and nothing...Where would I find one around say 200amp?

I know places like www.summitracing.com carry alternators for special needs for performance vehicles maybe they would have something but how much power are sucking that you would need a alternator that large?

Well right now im in the stages of getting a new spl competition setup going...The 2 amps I will be getting are gonna pull I would say in the 120amp range and I don't want dimming and still have room to add on if needed. Thanks for suggestion...I actually found some on ebay but they are 160 amp.
