Need Help On Belt

This is a very stupid question but... Im replacing my accessory belt and the darn thing wont fit... Ive got the right belt and all. The belt is about 1/4-1/2in. off (with the tension pulley pulled down). Is there a certain way to loop it. (other than the obvious)

Re: Need Help On Belt

I replaced my belt a while back and had no problem with it. I can't remember what order I put it on to each pulley, but I know it fit without a problem. You sure you have the right belt cause if it won't fit on with the tensioner pulled down I would think it would be too tight once you got it on. Sorry I can't be more helpful, hope you get it to work.

Re: Need Help On Belt

under your hood there should be a diagram showing you how to put your belt on

Make sure yout tensioner still has full range. Foreign material/broken internals can cause incomplete range.
