I need to know what I need to lower mt max but with adjustable coilovers. I want the ground control couilovers but what else, springs, struts? I appreciate the help.

you should put the Eibach springs on it, that will lower it about an inch and a half.

I just installed Eibach Prokit springs and KYB AGX adjustable struts/shocks on my 96 SE 5-speed. I'm happy with the result, as it lowered the front ~1.5 inches and the rear 1.2 (according to specs). I set the struts/shocks on mid-range settings and the result is much flatter cornering and a slightly firmer ride. I also installed a tower brace on the front at the same time. Total cost of parts about $650 (not including tower brace).
