98' Camry Keyless Programming Instructions

Hi,

I bought a used 98' toyota camry le, a few weeks back. The dealer gave me the remote, but did not know how to program them. I have been trying to program the remotes ever since I bought it. Tried the instructions on the other posts here, but it doesnt seem to work. I would be really grateful to anyone who could tell me how to program the keyless remote.
Also, when I first saw the car, I saw the red light blinking next to the mirror adjustment switch(the security system i suppose). The thing wasnt blinking when I took deilvery of the car, I just checked now, and found that the wires to the light have been cut. I am not sure if the system has been removed too. Any Idea how I could find out?.
