Door locks -- 1996 Intrepid

Drivers side power lock, will not work with remote or with interior lock switch -- only in hot weather

Whenever the outside temp is greater than about 75 degrees, the drivers side power lock will not lock or unlock with the remote or with the interior lock/unlock swith. Additionally, when lock or unlock is selected with the remote or lock/unlock switch, a loud "feedback" noise comes from the door lock. The door lock works normally when the key is used in the door, or when manually operating at the lock/unlock switch on the top of the door panel.

Anyone seen this before -- if so, what parts are needed and how difficult a repair?

Thanks
