DL and head lights problem!! Help! Please Read!!

I had this problem for a long time now..What it does is during day when daylight DL suppose too be on they are not ON,,,and my high beam indicator in dash just keep blinking...??????

2nd ---- Just today it started doing is when gets dark and regular lights suppose too be ON i only get parking ligths and fog lights ON and not headlights and my high beam indicator in dash just keep blinking, but when i turn regular ligth swich on in the car they are just work fine ?????
ANy ideas??? 1997 GA 2.4l

Yea i have the same problem. I think it is a female thing. Have to touch it just right or it will not work. What happened on mine is the steering coloum was loose. As a result all the little connection inside of the colum where pushed off slightly. Porbally there is a little switch in there that has to be replaced. I find that if i turn on the lights then press hard on the switch to go to hi-beams then back donw to low beams it seems to fix the problem for a while. Eventualy you will have to replace the switch inside of the colum. My machanic said it should not cost more then 100 bucks give or take labor rates in your area. Hopefully this helps out some.
