Sumthin's wrong
Sumthing's wrong with my Civic 92. I was peeling in first (high RPM) and then when i shifted to second, my exaust felt and sounded really different ...after when i stopped to check it out, it started to smell like sumthing was burning in my car. I dunno wats going on, this has never happened b4, surely i broke sumthing, but what?
Injector, piston, ...??? Anyone kno? |

smells like if sumthing was on fire, thats all i can say about the smell. i dont smell it outside tho, only in the car when i leave the car on (not moving)

Chances are you blew a gasket in your Exhaust manifold. Take a small hose of some sort and turn the car on. Listen around to see if there is a leak in your pipe. Do the same underneath near your cat-convertor. Does it smell like gas when you accelerate?
Is there anything wrong when you shift the car too? Does it drive alright? Also, is there are a ticking noise that gets louder the more you push the gas pedal? |

one time on the high way i went to pass a car..went down a gear and just gave it..something went..car felt really funny..then i started to smell something burn..had a high flow cat and i blew the filter inside..it took afew days to smell the egg smell u get when your cat goes. so check it out
