Cool porsche 911 GT3RS

Someone out there was considering making a replica of this car, so it was suggested to me to post some pics of mine...

Tamiya's GT3 kit basically out of the box, except for the wheels/tires. I don't remember the name nor brand of those wheels, they were as close as I could get to the ones on the actual car. There are others that have a spoke pattern that are closer yet, but the wheel diameter is too small, so I went with these.

The decals were drawn and printed by me from photographs I scanned into my Mac. There's been some interest in these decals, and they may be offered in the future, depending on response. Let me know?

The bodywork on the car actually should have some modifications, on the actual RS the chin spoiler is more agressive. Also, the rear valance/bumper is pulled in shorter. I wasn't interested in going that far, too many other kits to get to.

For the same reason, I did not add the unique spoiler that belongs on this car, I used the "standard" GT3 device. But the more I look at it, I think it really needs that final touch, so I intend to do make one and add it in the near future.

Thanks for looking, hope it inspires you!

coming soon:

Apologies for the poor lighting in these shots, the sun hasn't been out in weeks down here in Atlanta.
