2000 Astro AWD AT.
My service engine soon light came on and stays on today, and my transmission started shifting extremely hard from 1st. to 2nd today. The van has 99,486 miles on it. Anyone know what may be going on?

If the SES light is on that means that there are codes stored, go to Autozone and they will read them for free. Come back here and give us the codes, and we will be able to help you better.

The lite went out yesterday and has stayed out. I had just went through a car wash the morning that the lite came on so I am assuming that caused the problem.....Autozone could not recover any codes.
