1992 B18B JDM Motor

ok,the motor i just got from Japan is a B18B motor and it has a manufacture date of Aug 1992.what was the 1st year of the B18B motor here on our US spec cars?
i'm assuming the specs are going to be the same for both motors when i go to order parts from the parts houses.you know how they always ask for the year of the car and if you don't come up with #s that match their 'generic' database----- SOL!!!

the b18b used in US cars until 94, what exactly are you asking though?

i thought the b18b was only used AFTER 1994?i know my manual shows b18a used up til '93.
kinda makes it rough when you go to order parts-from anyone other than the Acura dealership.they always want the year & make,which isn't always the case in their databnase.

90-93 = B18a
94-up = B18b

What kind of parts are you wanting to get? I can get you the part #'s then you can just go into any Acura dealership and some Honda dealerships and get the part.
