how much is too much?

how many ponies can i squeeze out of my 1995 Pontiac Firebird 5.7 LT1?

and how much would it cost?

im thinking ECU (is that the acronym?) replacement and the such


i know little about computer controlled fuel adminustration... lol funny story i was looking under the hood of the car for about 20 mins looking for the carb

The possible output of your engine is almost limitless depending on how much your will to put in to her time and money wise. You will have to be more specific for me to answer this and you don't have a ECM or carb. You have a PCM(Powertrain controll module cause it also has controll over tranny) and intake manifold/plenuim.
