I've torn open my radio and am currently trying to find out what lights to use, for some odd reason the engineers at GM decided it would be a good idea to hard wire the bulbs to the circuit board, so if i figure anything out ill let you know.

Re: radio lights
mine went out too. I just ended up buying an aftermarket JVC radio. Looks alot better anyways. My local chevy retailer even had a little cubby hole i could put in place of the CD slave.

Stealth
Are they the "Grain of wheat" bulbs (bulbs the size of a grain of wheat) I found that type by doing a google search I know they use them on aircraft instrument pannels but i havent taken my radio apart to see them. Steve |

Just in case the lights in your heat/AC controls go bad too as mine did you can go to radio shack and for $1.50 each you can buy the new bulbs, but you will have to solder them into the board. I just did mine and they work great now
