Mini-Me swap

Alright im really tryin to decide what to do with my car and im thinkin about puttin the y8 head on my d16a6 block..what all do i need to do this swap and how much hp am i looking at gaining? if anyone has any links or info on it please let me kno. I also need to get a new oil pan. What do you think would be the best kind to go with? And by getting a newer/larger one would i help out my engine?

stock just change the head use ur stock injectors and geat a 12vlt switch for ur vtec and ur done.

um civickiller. Seeing how im doin the minime swap to my car i duno what the hell your talkin bout. and i aint see you put nething down here besides some bs tryin to bust on me. (although i do see what ur talkin about in the other thread) and not everyone on this site knows everything about cars. Although im sure that you know everything there is. And i really dont see why u keep drawin this shit out. its retarded. if you gota prob or dont believe me the stop readin this shit. no one is makin you read it besides your own dam self.

well im not allmighty but the swap it alil more technical then just changin the head and puttin a 12vt switch in for the vtec. its pretty much wrong. its not just any 12vt switch. i just had to say somin. na mean?

the only complicated thing about doing the swap is pulling out the oil jet. and actually hooking up vtec is as simply as hook it up to 12volts then putting in a switch. my friend put his vtec on a push button

If you want detailed instructions I will email them too you they are too long to put on here. My bf and I just did this to my CRX.....it was to horrible hard and but it wasn't simple either. After we got the car running I am definatly pleased with the swap. There are still a few bugs to work out but nothing too major...anyway let me know the email if you want them!!!

i am also looking into doing a mini me swap, i was wonder if using the d15 block and then getting the vtec head and the mpfi intake and wiring and ect will work? let me know how urs goes!
