98 2dr Tahoe Power Locks went out

Hi guys. I bought a used 1998 Tahoe 2 dr. and the rear wiper doesn't work due to a short somewhere in the vehicle. This doesn't really bother me, but last week both power door locks quit working at the same time. The keyless entry still opens them, and the car key works, but the buttons on each door won't activate the locks. I am wondering if this has something to do with the short somewhere on the vehicle, or another problem I'm not aware of. Does anyone else have experience with this problem?

edit: I forgot to add that the rear hatch also went out; nothing happens when I press the button beside the radio or in the rear next to the window.
