jeep cherokee transmission problem
my trans seem to be sticking in high gear or third gear when i go to put on brakes and stop for any reason it makes a loud vibrating noise and them it shakes and the jeep tries to cut off its still in high gear and will not down shift is there anyone with a solution to this problem. will i have to get another transmission? please reply

The next time the Trans starts to shudder do to stopping put the Trans in neutral and see if the shuddering stops, If it does it could be your Torque Coverter Clutch Solenoid acting up or could be more serious. Check Fluid level and fluid condition.
