Shakey Steering Wheel & Wobbling Car

For about a week and a half my steering wheel was very shakey and the car wobbled really bad. I then got a 4 wheel alignment. The shaking of the car and steering wheel reduced, however it still exist. What else could be the problem as to why my steering wheel shakes and the car wobbles EVEN AFTER a $70 4 wheel alignment. Please help!

Very likely you have a bad tire. A Wobbly car indicates that you either have a crooked wheel or a radial tire gone bad. When US companies first started making radials it was common for a car to wiggle side to side at slower speeds.

Mine had the same problem. Rotated tires front to back and the problem went away. if it actually makes your steering wheel go side to side at low speed and vibrates at high speed, then it's a bad tire or bent rim.

Re: Shakey Steering Wheel & Wobbling Car

mine is rear end damage, both of my rear tires are bent in the same direction, i go through a set of tires every year for this, cheaper to buy tires than have the work done to fix the problem

That is quite probably untrue, unless you have extremely expensive rims or extremely cheap tires. Even so, consider how much it will cost you over, say, 5 years, to have the new tires mounted and balanced, and think about the time you waste having this work done.

I have no idea what you're talking about when you say your tires are bent in the same direction. I assume you mean the vehicle's alignment is incorrect. A 4-wheel alignment, in my experience, will run you around $60-$80. Consider that it costs you about $40 a year to have 4 tires mounted and balanced; in 2 years you have recovered the cost of the alignment, and your tires may last you two or three times as long. And, expect your gas mileage to improve when you're not dragging the tires sideways along the road.
