So last night, during a huge snowstorm....I hear a loud pop, my stereo cuts out and now my wipers don't work....the stereo comes back on....the wipers still don't work. Im driving a 2000, apparently they have had 'electrical circuit continuity' problems. UGH.
Does this mean a blown fuse???? |

Re: My wipers arent working
look at your wiper pivot point, u know where they connect, their is probaly some caps over the mounting bolt/nut remove these and turn your wipers on if the pivot move then it just needs to be tightened, they are designed this way to minimize damage when people turn them on with to much of a load ie..snow packed on them.

in a snow storm you dont want to use wipers or the defrost when the snow hits the cold windsheild it will just blow off

Thanks! I took it to Canadian Tire...(what a stupid girl) So they told me "fuses don't blow for no reason" UH...WHAT? Then the idiot looks UNDER my hood for the fuse box.
I took it home, opened my fuse box...the one UNDER my dash and low and behold! The fuse had blew and I fixed it myself. So yes, my wipers work again. YAYY. |
