interior lights/door ajar

I often cannot get my door ajar/interior lights to go out on 99 expo. is there a set of contacts that need clean/adjust? this seems to be a common problem on ford had the same problem on 99 f-250.

Lightbulb

open all the doors, including the rear hatch, and spray wd-40 into the latch mechanisms, then follow up with a coating of silicon spray, this should "fix" the problem.
worked for me and others

If the wd-40 no longer works all you need is the door sensor. After you figure out which door is the problem. They cost about $10.00 plus installation if you can't do it your self. It is a pain installing though.
Good Luck!

Re: Re: worked like a charm

Hey guys, I have the same problem with my front passenger door. For a couple of years I've dealt with it. I just joined earlier today and already had good results. Thanks for the good info.
