Re: head liner

Don't peel the whole liner down. Just undo the trin at the edges that may be holding it partially up and then spray area thats not being held up. Use some pins or a staple to hold it in place til the glue dry's and your good to go. Good Luck.

Re: head liner

Mine is like that, but I think it has stretched over time, so I'll have to order a new liner.

Re: head liner

the same thing happen to me, i was goin on a 1000 mile road trip in the old maro. and the windows open 100% of the time. the headliner came right off, and all that asbestos crap or whatever started gettin in my eyes and making me and my friend all itchey, so i said "screw this" and pulled over and ripped the whole thing out. so its just metal, it looks so cool! looks like one of those race cars. id recommend just ripping it all out, cuz its basicaly screwed, all that is gonna happen is that absestos stuff is going to fly all around and make you itchey and get in yr eyes

that, myfriend, is where your wrong.. why would you destroy it even more when you can just fix it really easily.. it was only comming off towards the windsheild because with teh t-tops off it gets really windy but i just glued it back up
looks fine

Re: head liner

well mine was completely sagging down, the material was no longer touching the inner yellow flaky stuff, so i ripped the material thing out, and the dust got in my eyes like every 5 seconds causing me to go blind....... and going 100 mph blind is no fun things, so i just ripped the panel off, and BAM clean metal lies beneath, i just put a bunch of stickers on it, so its good now.
