Max vs. Plumber

Yesterday my girl (Trish) decided she wanted to go see "Hide and Seek", so I said sure. She invited her friend (Amanda) with us, cuz her boyfriend is out of state at a wrestling meet.

Amanda arrives, talks with Trish's mom, and then we decide to go ahead and leave. (flash forward to after the movie {good movie by the way...I suggest you see it})

We all pile back into my car, and I start drivin back towards my girl's house. Amanda starts talkin about how one of their friends was scared to race her (she drives a 99 V6 Camaro) and I can't help but just smile while I'm drivin.

I pull up to the stop light, and we hear country music playin. Trish goes "where is that country music playin from?" to which Amanda responds "the van next to us". I look over...its one of those ford E-series vans...there is a guy singin along to the country music blastin from his radio. I look farther back and I see a big "Roto Rooter" emblem on the side of the van.

Light turns green, and I barely give it gas and start to take off slow...meanwhile this guy gets on it hard and starts pullin away fast. I hear Amanda in the back seat go "Ooooooh" so I get on it...but by the time I get on it he's already got a door on me and is pullin away fast.

Right after I got on it, I immediately stopped his pull. By this time my nose was at about the Roto Rooter sign. By the top of first i was ahead of his door, and 1/3 the way thru second (about 40 mph) i was already ahead of him and pullin away. I took it up to 60 and just stayed at that speed.

Trish was like "He stood no chance..." Next thing I kno, out of the corner of my eye, this van flies by me doin about 75. Then, he had to slam on his brakes for the train tracks comin up...we all just laughed...

Cliff Notes:
Went and saw "Hide and Seek"
-Recommend it to everyone
Raced a plumber with my girl and her friend in the car
-They both loved it
Plumber did a fly-by on me after the race
-Looked like an ass because he had to slam on his brakes immediately afterward
--Had my fun for the evening

You gotta love them dudes with the company vehicles. I've raced everything from taxi cabs to this driving school that uses V6 mustangs instructor.
