Light Fixtures

Ok my left headlights are aimed kinda down, how do I reposition 'em?

And how do I make my small square lights (i think running, they're white not turning signals) to turn on? wiring problem?

Re: Light Fixtures

if you're talking about the fog lights, theres a switch. you turn the headlights either on or to P, and push the button for your fog lights.. im pretty sure its right under the headlight switch in the 97's.. other than that i dont think there are any other lights...

Re: Light Fixtures

There are no buttons under the lights. Just the knob and the dash-brightness wheel thing.

its really easy as the other guys said.. theres only three things where the light switch is. the nob for the regular lights, the wheel for the interior lights and the switch for the fog lights. if that switch doesnt turn them on you either have a short or yoru bulbs are burnt out.. my fog lights didnt work for a while and i ended up having to change them.. its an easy proccess to change them

Re: Light Fixtures

and here we go with the massive multiple step photo guided process...

of course, first you must locate your switches.. mine is a 93, so its a little different.. JUST A LITTLE.. dont get confused now.. your button will probably be above where the radio is..

then.. you turn the parking lights on.. the knobs will look kindof like this..

then.. you push the button.. its really not that hard.. just make sure you extend your index finger fully, to avoid injury.. it should look like this.. when its on.. but dont forget.. YOURS IS PROBABLY ABOVE THE RADIO!

finally, exit the vehicle to see if the lights came on.. like so.. NOT THAT DIFFICULT....

*xeno.. just make sure you dont pick fights with me and the guys on AIM.. the reason why i put my sn on here was for people with concerns or questions.. not for people to start fights and bother the hell out of me..

Re: Light Fixtures

*sigh* guys with early 4th gens, the interior and taillights changed over in 97, the exterior in 98...

Xeno, you know where that little piece is that says "Camaro" right under the middle vents? There should be a couple sideways switches there, on mine the fog light switch is on the left and SGS (second gear start) is on the right, then the "camaro" to the right of that.

As for repositioning, the entire housing is one unit (no serperate bulb) so you have to reposition that whole thing..

i dont know if anyone answered the first part of your question. how to adjust the headlights. if i can remember right.. when i changed my bulbs there should be a screw that you can tighten or loosen to reposition the angle of your headlights. the fog lights should be the same way

Re: Light Fixtures

i know.. my v6 is just such a monster of a machine that anyone could easily pay more attention to that than the point i was trying to get across.. i guess i need to add some shiny things in the text or something.. to take the attention away from the car..
