Exclamation Honda S2000 AP1_Exhaust System

Hi,

Does anybody know any specific brand of exhaust systems out there

for the Honda S2000, that provides the most horsepower gains? Invidia

Super N1 Exhaust System gains 2 horsepowers, that's not worth it

for a $500 - $600 exhaust system. How about HKS Hi-power exhaust, or

Espelir JGT500 exhaust, or Tanabe Super Medallion Racing, ... ????

Please help, I'd appreciate it if you could help me. Thank you very much

guys.

there are a lot of good cat back exhausts, mostly they are just for sound. I have seen a few dyno plots that show a little power..for a lot more $$. however this is subjective. go to s2ki.com and try a search.

Re: Honda S2000 AP1_Exhaust System

S2ki is an excellent source of info. I have the Neuspeed cat back, some complain about a power loss, some say they saw a gain. My butt dyno can't tell a difference, but I have had atleast 3 people tell me it is the best sounding car they've ever heard.

There is only one way to get power out of the S2k. Forced Induction. Honda has this engine already strung out as is. Most people change the exhaust for weight purposes. I believe the stock exhaust is about 57lbs. The neuspeed saved me ~30lbs, but you can get a Titanium exhaust(for a pretty penny) and save upwards of 40lbs worth of weight.

Re: Honda S2000 AP1_Exhaust System

your not going to get any power gains with exhaust unless you go single which then gets you an illegal loud racing exhaust tone which you can get from Spoon, Amuse, Veilside as well as a few others but there racing only. I think that Spugen, HKS Hi-Power(NOT HKS HIPER which sounds raspy), Mugen, and Comptech have the best sounding exhausts but all of em are about $1200-$1500
