trrrrrrr noise from engine....HElp...!
2001 GA SE 50k Auto...
im curious i asked my grandpa what the noise could be and he said he thinkgs its the lifters they need to be adjusted it doesnt sound like a serious noise and i know that it isnt somthin serious cause ive heard lots of cars witht he same noise.... it just sounds like a continuous clicking anyone know what it could be.... |

It's most likely lifter noise - especially if it only happens when the car first starts up. Our cars pnuematic lifters take a while to get the oil all the way up to em, so they run pretty rough for a while. If it's happening when you're car is @ 200 degrees, and it's loud, then it may even be something like piston slap.
