Question What do you build?

Hi guys / gals,

I'm new to this forum but after reading it for a couple of days all I see being built here are newer cars. My preference is 60's-70's muscle cars. I'm curious, are there any muscle car builders on this board?

Just so you know, I'm not prejudiced, just curious. I have already picked up some great information that I will use on my current projects from this board.

what do you build

I build hot rods 1920 to 1959 and 60's and 70's muscel cars and pickups. I just started building import cars models I built a revel Miata the Revel Acura Intera Type R, and a Ford Imsa Probe. I have seen a lot of great models here and hope to build a Tamiya kit someday.

Anyway welcome, im not a huge fan of muscle cars i prefer the modern stuff. However I do like Chargers, Camaro's, Trans-Am's and a few others and i also like some of the older custom cars like the Mercury.

:bandit:Welcome "Mad",I had no idea there were so many here with
the same likes as me,mostly pre 80s american iron. I have been known
to make an occasional detour to military or figure building.

Japanese cars. Especially the turbocharged monster variety (i.e. Lancer Evolutions, Skylines, Imprezas, etc...). I don't like American domestics at all. I would like to build some BMW's, though (M5 and M3, drool)

Mostly modern cars, whether they be European, Japanese, or American, rally, street, race, I don't care, as long as they look good

But since the high quality kits all come from Japan...I build mostly whatever Tamiya has to offer, I am not that good with putty and scratchbuild to worry about ill fitting parts

Just recently bought a Revell Corvette Z06, though, I really want to buy a Viper too, and am making a '99 Mustang die-cast for my cousin

I'm a fan of American muscle cars, particularly when the classic looks are mated with new-tech engines, transmissions, and suspensions. Rice-rockets are cool (I have a deposit on a Mitsu Evo 7!) but I love the the pure gutteral grunt of a V-8!! And yes, that's what I build..

My to-do list was mostly Japanese cars, but now I seem to have a touch of Ferrari fever, and I know some more American cars are going to sneak up on me... I sure wouldn't mind doing a split-window Vette!

Talking Mostly F1 one cars

I am also pretty new
I indulge in F1 cars alot,

Building models as well as F1 itself everything in the sport fascinates me
I have one F1 Brabham diorama online ................... see
http://www.angelfire.com/de2/darren/brab.html

I am ironically working ón a 93-94 Subaru WRX diorama (1/24) - the car was given to me by my girlfriend...
IU will try to put on the net if I ever finish it.

i mostly do exotics and some imports like the ITR and skylines. i just recently decided to do muscle cars and i went to look for some. my hobby shop has a lot but not the one i want to start out with, 68-69 camaro. maybe i'll pick up a 68 firebird (he has 2) but the closest i've got to a muscle car now is an 87 GNX.
