Stock GTR Turbo's are smaller than a T28, more in between a T25/T28.
They have a ceramic exaust wheel.

Geez, I didn't realize how small those turbos were. I hear about people bolting on T04Es in their place, now I see how much of a difference that is. Amazing.

Yeah you have to love those 3000GT turbo'sAlmost look like real snails. Still 15'Gs are a good replacement for them :sun:

Snails, heh, that's funny. :smoker2:
I know there are plenty of smaller turbos out there. It's just the staggering amount of power the RB26 can put out with those stock turbos. Single turbos are popular on GT-Rs now, T04s and such. But I am big on response, so I would probably go for a pair of ball-bearing T28's. Oh yes. Do you know exactly what compressor and turbine trim are used in the stocks turbos?

Ceramic is kindof a blackish grey color, but I suppose they could make it whatever color they wanted it to be.

I saw a ceramic wheel one time that was a sandy color. The texture is probably a better indicator.

It is actually rather hard to tell by looking at them in opinion...
Stock GTR ones are Ceramic yes. I am upgrsading to a larger Compressor wheel , keepsing bush though as the extra money isn't worth it... Ben

Hold a lighter to it, then touch it. If you burn yourself, it's not ceramic. If it's warm to the touch but not hot, then it's ceramic
