Looks good Tikiman, guess I should get going on mine now. Did the kit come with a driver? Don't remember seeing one in the box.

Nice and good looking. This is one of my favourite car, P34 six wheelers. Which blue colour you had been used for the P34?

Looks brilliant Matt, nice work. You should really come along to IPMS open in April & bring this one with you.

BTW.......did you use Alclad chrome on the "silvery" parts, Mike

I used TS-15 blue.

Most of the small parts were chromed already and i used a silver marker pen to touch up were they were attached to the sprue. In fact the silver marker pen is the best chrome substitute i have used and they're available from stationers. They're only good for small parts though. For the silver inside the cockpit area that looks kind of like alluminium i used Humbrol Hobby Spray No.11-metallic silver.

Great work on the Tyrrel Tikiman. Aren't you Swedish? I'd have thought you'd build it as the "Super Swede" Ronnie Peterson's car.

Although I'm not swedish, i just live in sweden, I did actually think about doing the Peterson version but it involved cutting some of the cockpit up for having different wing mirrors. I think i could have done it, but not without some risk of messing the thing up.
Thanks for looking.

Re: Completed Tyrrell P34 6 wheeler F1 car from the 1977 Monaco GP

Nice build of one of the coolest F-1 cars of all times. I love watching the on-board Monaco practice lap from the "Lap of the Gods" movie.

They took the front bodywork off and mounted the camera high above his helmet, looking down and forward..something about watching all 4 front wheels turn was just mesmerizing...

Thanks for reminding me of it and thanks for sharing,
Bill
