Unhappy 96 rl steering/handling

Hi guys ! i am new to this forum, my acura 96 RL steering wheel doesn't response smoothly/efficiently car has 150000+ mileage. i am wondering if it has anything to do with power steering pump? and if it does where should i get one for cheap? any advice is appreciated. thanks

first check if p/s fluid is filled up. if not...fill it back up and test drive. also...if it wasn't filled up...my be an indication that you may have a leak. if fluid level is ok...check tire pressure. if tire pressure is low...it could give you symptoms your describing. front wheel alignment may be a factor as well.

Ive had the same problem occur on my moms 96 Rl, with 136k miles. It doesnt happen all the time though... it has only happened maybe 3 times *at most* but i dont know where its coming from... i guess all i can say is check the fluid and maybe the leak... but i know for sure my mom'd doesnt have those problems (weve had it inspected)~but we were told nuthing was wrong~ hope it helps
