Brush Guard

I was looking for a brush guard for my 99 ext cab....there so expensive around here in the stores ($600). Do you guys know of any cheaper ones? I looked on ebay and theres only 2 to choose from. Here is the kind I want (the kind with the headlight covers)

I put this one on my '04, got it from the above website about 14 months ago.

To each his own, but I'd try to persuade you against that style. I used to have one until I bumped a friend and it totally collapsed. It wasn't bad, but they're just not very strong and they shake really badly when the truck is running. I only paid $50 for mine 'cause I bought it from my little brother's friend. I bought a new one from a company called Frontier for $380. It's much more sturdy and not much heavier. Look in my gallery for the pic of the old Waag on my truck before, and the new one with the mesh in the middle. Frontier's Website is www.frontier-gear.com . Also, another brand I'd reccomend highly is RanchHand.

Re: Brush Guard

I'd either get a Waag, Westin Sportsman, Ranch Hand, or some other comparable kind. DO NOT get a Luverne if you want it to be strong. They look good, but I hit a deer with one and instead of protecting my truck, the guard slammed into the grille, hood, and fenders of my truck causing TWICE the damage.
