The EGR mod is simply pulling the EGR out of the throttlebody and cutting down the metal end that goes into the throttlebody. It is believed that the metal piece is somewhat restrictive, and doing this will free up some space in the throttlebody. I had this done until I had my custom tune, then I got the EGR removed from the computer and just made some plates to cover where the EGR went into the throttlebody and the manifold. If you decide to do the mod, be very gentle with the egr tubing, because it is "flexible", but not very sturdy and it will break if bent too much.

I did it, and I didn't notice any difference?? It wasn't hard to do at all though.
