Question Carb'd '7?

Hello my lil' Rotary-Heads!

What are your thoughts on a Carbuerator Kit (Like RB's) on an NA 13B/FC? Anyone out there try it? How much more HP? Pro's and con's (other than it not being street-legal?). Thanks!

Re: Carb'd '7?

I'm not really sure how much hp it would add but I would think it would knock out alot of junk that just sits unfer the hood taking up space.
Ever thought of adding a supercharger along with the carb? Just a thought, because if you're looking for more hp then force induction would put you up a few ponies.

Re: Carb'd '7?

Well... I don't own a FC as some of you know... My brother does and I'm just trying to help him with some modification options. I've heard of the Supercharged deal... but...

Re: Carb'd '7?

yea, you'll get more out of a carbed 13b.
ever thought or having the carb boost preped and then use a T2 exhaust manifoil/turbo combo, runing low boost ? way cheaper than getting a s/c
and for the carb choice, i'd go for a weber.
a big street ported engine with a 48 IDA and 15-18 pounds of boost on a T3/T4 turbo would make a pretty nice amount of power.

Re: Carb'd '7?

theres still a shitload of hp to unluck with a 45 DCOE carb or a holley. you could probably go in the 200 crank hp range easely with no porting

personally, if had a turbo rotary i would go with efi and standalone. but a carbed n/a would be fine for me.
