95 galant electrical problems
i have a 95 galant S. i had a new alternator put in about a year ago, and then the battery went a few months after that. i have since put 4 batteries in it. there were two draws found in the electrical system (driver door light switch which was replaced) and the trunk light (which was unhooked). there is nothing drawing from the battery anymore. however, my sensor lights for oil and the battery on the dash don't light up anymore when i first put the key in. the second mechanic i took it to did a test and said my battery is charging. he said the battery and alternator are fine. he even checked the bulbs in those sensor lights and they work. my car still is having trouble starting. when it is cold (under 30 degrees) it won't start. however it's warm today and the same thing happened. my radio works, the lights seem to be working, the power locks are weak (not in every case), but the clock always resets itself. has anyone else had or heard of a problem like this? i am about to drive this thing into a wall. any help would be much appreciated.

check your fuse box, both of them: in the dash and under the hood. check every fuse and replace all of them even if your not sure if its good or not.

one problem found was the main circuit, which was blown. when that was replaced, a few of the problems went away. a new fuse was needed for the radio and clock, however, i still have no voltage light or oil light when i first start the car, which leads me to believe there is a wiring problem. the bulbs were checked and they work properly, so there is something going on with the wiring. anyone have any ideas? thanks for the help!
