2001 GC tranny pan leak

Well, the "2001 beast" is biting me hard this month. Just fixed a bad TPS and now I'm told my tranny pan is leaking. What is involved in this repair? I have an appoinment for the 15th at 10 am with a great transmission shop here in Burlington.
I'm a transmission newb, is more ATF+4 fluid needed if the pan is lowered?

Thanks for the help,

Happy Jeep'ing

yes it is, it is also a good idea to change the fluid and filter while doing it.
