Stock radio lights
Iīve been trying to find those micro-midget-sub-mini-display-light bulbs for the stock radio, with no luck in the electronic stores, and on the internet they want you to buy anywhere from 1,000 to 5,000 of the little suckers that MIGHT fit the board and even if they fit the board they may just be too hot and melt the darn display off. Why oh why, after 20 years of the invention of the LED does chevy NOT use them?? Those dirty rotten stinking ratbastards want to take a penny off here, a peeny off there, to make more money, it doesnīt matter if you are driving blind after a year . But anyway, I want to replace the beast with a new unit, is this truck a 1 1/2 DIN or a 2DIN slot, I donīt want to use an adapter, anybody know?

Re: Stock radio lights
Its a 1.5 DIN unit. If you want to keep this same size, Pioneer makes 2 units that are 1.5 DIN for GM/Chrysler vehicles. Their model numbers are
DEH-P47DH and DEH-P77DH prices start at around $250 +/- a little. Your most likely bet, will be to buy a 1 DIN headunit and a install kit for it so it'll look half-way factory, plus you'll have alot more head-units to choose from.
