Common Blazer problems

Hey. Looking at a 99 Blazer. 2wd. Wondering what the more common problems for a Blazer are. Anything serious? Thanks.

Re: Common Blazer problems

Your driving habits and how well you maintain a vehicle determines majority of the problems you are likely to encounter

Re: Common Blazer problems

Are the door pin bushings something a home mechanic can fix?

My driver side door seems to be sagging and not closing like it used to.

You can get the new pins and bushings at any autoparts store...

Re: Common Blazer problems

Can I ask another question? How would you tell if yours are worn and in need of replacement?

Grab the door from the top right corner and see if you can push up on it. If there is movement, you need to replace a pin. Do both pins and bushings in the door at the same time. Both pins need to be popped out and the door taken off the hinges anyways in order to get the bushings out.
