Help

i have a 91 s10 4.3 with tbi. and for some reason every time i try to floor it, it starts to die and just stops but if i let off it will keep going at the normal speed.

idk my friend said that it could be the plug wires arent on the distributor right but weve been working on his truck so much, we havent been able to check.

plugs, wires, cap, roter, pcv vale, etc, check those and let us know

I think it might be your vehicle speed sensor, go to autozone and have them check the codes; that might help--besides its free. I dont think its your wires that are connected improperly because then your truck would misfire and you would hear it backfire. Good Luck.

It has been back firing through the throttle body, It's got a brand new cap rotor wires and plugs. So i dont know what it could be.
