Hey I have looked through some threads and seen the FAQs and I haven't found anything on this but if it has already been answered I apologize. Anyways, I'm looking to get a VR4 and I'm wondering if I should get it from a dealer or an individual... along with that what things should I look for to make sure the car has been taken care of because the car is going to have some milage.
thanks, Dez |

Re: Seeking VR4
hey dez, if your anywhere near indiana, i would check this one out, it seems like a really good buy, but im really not sure what vr-4 your looking at. i was going to get this one, until i found out how much insurance was going to be.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MakeTrack=true i know it is off ebay, but the guy said he's got no problem with you coming there and looking at it. i talked to him, seems like a good honest guy, but i could be wrong. any way, if you don't have a ebay account and are interested i have the guys e-mail -tom |

Re: Seeking VR4
If interest rates are cheaper at a dealer, opposed to a bank loan, then by all means.
If you are referring to the condition of the vehicle, it will depend. Dealers, as well as individuals, are all out for the same thing. ($$$) Dealerships do not put the car into any special treatments. There really is no say on which is better, it all depends on how the car was treated. Your best bet is to test drive the vehicle, run some of your own tests, and have it inspected. Depending on the liquidity of the vehicle, a dealership may be cheaper. But then again, it could be the same for individuals. In the end, it all depends. Take your time. There's no rush. |

Re: Seeking VR4
Generally, you will get better deals with an individual. I have an intense hatred for dealerships after working at one, so I generally suggest avoiding them like the plague...but it's up to you. Just do as everyone said, take your time and look for the best deal.
