clutch installation

hello all,
does anyone know how long does it usually take to install a clutch for a 01 prelude? its it really take 7 hours like the dealer said? thats radiculous

its this clutch ok for a prelude? what other parts do u need to replace a clutch?

Book time on that is probably 7 hrs. Im positive I could do it in less time in a shop. They quote you seven hours to give them some cushion time to chase parts, if bolts break, Its not uncommon to run into some delays. Exedy makes a decent clutch.

I have an Exedy clutch and its working well so far. It will take them 7 hours max if absolutely everything goes wrong. When I had my clutch done it only took the shop 4 hours, and that's including the flywheel resurfacing. And yes, make sure they resurface your flywheel when they swap out your clutch.
