Ipod info
I have an 02 Tblazer with the Bose system. Does anyone know how to hook up an Ipod directly to the system? The FM adapters don't seem to work that well.

IPod connector to Bose stereo
I have an 02 TB LT with the Bose and 6-cd in dash, and every single website/person i have talked to say there are not any inputs on the back of the radio, so one cannot be added without replacing the radio. I have an Archos jukebox, and wanted to do the same thing, but ended up buying an FM transmitter, not the best sound quality. i know this is true for the Bose and 6-cd in dash, but if you dont have the in dash, there might be a set of inputs on the back to accommodate a standalone 6 cd changer in the glove box. I hope this helps, and have a good day.
PS- You might have to pull the dash apart and check the radio to prove this, i dont have the time to pull it apart, only to find i cannot install it. |

I went through this with my '03. Here's the scoop: Most adapters on the market right now attach to the factory head unit and imitate a satellite radio. The 02 and some 03s with the 6 disc changer (like mine) don't support that. From what I understand, the aux input on those radios is only compatible with the rear seat DVD. Bummer. I bought an ice link from Dension (http://www.densionusa.com/x/index.php) and found out the hard way. They were kind enough to return the product.
