Question pic problem?

In the AF photo gallery it says I can only download a file of 80kb. My pic is 289kb. How do I make the file smaller? Want to post a pic of WIP. Any help? thank you.

Re: pic problem?

First use the software to crop (i.e. cut out) just the bit of the image you want us to see. Extra image = extra file size. Then reduce the size of the image (i.e. dimensions) to something reasonable, I shoot for a width of about 500-600 pixels. Then when you save it as a JPEG, mess around with the compression settings. More compression = smaller file, but less picture quality. Hope that helps.
