Re: tourbonator????

I have no personal experience, but I know of 2 people that said it worked. A guy with a 2002 camaro ss says it really makes a noticable difference on a number of things (milage, power) and another guy with a Suburban (don't know year) said it improved gas milage.

I think they might be silly gimmicks, but you can not dispute actual milage numbers. The problem is a TON of factors go int computing your milage so o well. I believe the "adds horsepower" thing is just mental horsepower.

Re: tourbonator????

It has been proven to be a scam over and over again.

Just like throttle body spacers.

Re: tourbonator????

I just clicked on the "tire rack" link at the top and the site is actually pretty cool. You can choose your vehicle and different sets of wheels, and it shows how they look on your vehicle

Yea, thats what I thought I think it's impossible phisics wise to increase hp and gas milage at the same time.

That's what you get for thinkin' buckeyboy. Explain K&N air filters, explain why auto manufacturers no longer use carbs; instead they use fuel injection with a computer that can be programmed to restrict hp but maintain fuel economy. By the way, this is how you spell PHYSICS.

Sorry, there CAD-LICKEN I'm not an expert machanic or an english major, thats why I am on this forum not teaching students, I have to agree with Blazer LT, there are several people on this forum who have "pardon the spelling" SARCASTIC attitudes when it is uncalled for. Please try to be more understanding in the future a lot of folks join this forum to learn because they don't know THE ANSWERS and do not want to be made to feel stupid. By trade I am a Building Maintenance Supervisor for a major coporation that has 40 plants world wide. If we were to talk about pump Curves head pressures, heat exchangers, bearings that are as big as the wheels on your car, high pressure gas at 700psi not natural gas that comes in you home at 3 to 7 psi. Im sure I could hold my own in this area . do you get the point.
