I ve read it 's the protar reissue, to handle with caution, I d say.

Id get the hasegawa one for sure, unless my prejudices towards the Protar brand will be proven wrong by somebody else...

Oli

PS nice site update by italeri, don't you think?

I have never done the Italeri Delta, so unfortunately I cannot help you with this exact kit. However, I have done Deltas by both Hasegawa and Protar. While the Hasegawa kits are fine, the Protar kit was quite poorly molded, being very heavy in some parts and with lots of flashing. I did this kit many years ago, and it is currently on the other side of the world, so I can't give you to much more detail - like quality of interior etc. If the Italeri kit is based on the Protar, then I would say be prepared for some heavy prep work.

Hope this helps,
Grant.

Yes, I'm pretty sure the Italeri one is a Protar Reissue. I have both the Protar and Hasegawa Delta's too. The Protar is a typical Protar kit and in this case has fewer parts and not so well molded.

If you want to build a Delta then Hasegawa is the way to go.

My LHS had that same car from Hasegawa on the shelves for a while. I wanted it but never picked it up. Now I have the Super Delta kit and it's very nice. Maybe a little high for a tarmac car, but nothing I can't fix (If I ever work on it....).
