my car is shaking

My 92 gp le 3.1 tends to jerk or shake while i am driving. the engine light comes on and off. But the car dosen't cut off I was wondering if any one had any ideas what could be wrong. some times it even feels like a bad tire any ideas?????

could be many things, harmonic balancer, need of a tune-up, bad injector(s). you need to give us more detail, is it misfiring at all? first thing you should do is see what trouble code was stored in the computer when the light comes on. bring it to autozone, they typically dont charge anything to hook up and read it for you.

Your info is pretty vague. Have you put new plug on recently? It could be that one of the plug wires has slipped of the coil pack it is suppose to be connected to. Thats my best guess without some more detail.

Very good idea that you need your spark plugs replaced with new ones, they may be worn out or loose, get that checked.

spark plugs is a very good thing to look into, on top of making sure that the cables didn't pop off, but also give plug a once over to make sure they are all snug and didnt work themselves loose.
