Stereo/Dome Light/Glovebox Light

I am trying to install a new aftermarket stereo into my car. The car came with a previous aftermarket stereo. My problem is that the wires in the harness were all taped together, whoever had this car before me totally butchered it. Anyways, I was installing the new stereo and it powered up fine and everything. I think at that point once I fit everything in and plugged it in again, something shorted out, because now I cannot get any power to the stereo. Also, now the Dome light and glove box light will not light up. Is this a fuse or something that needs to be reset? Please help!
